On Wednesday, October 31, 2012 the Kiwanis Club of Hampstead will be holding our 6th Annual Trick or Treat in the Park event. Hampstead Kiwanis Park will be well lit on Halloween night from 5 PM to 8 PM for the children of our community to enjoy a safe and fun-filled Halloween. We have the chance to use 2 fields and we would love to fill them both up with participants!
We are seeking vendors for Trick or Treat in the Park. For just $50, each vendor will be listed on an event
flyer, on our Facebook event page and a Dedicated Page on our Web Site. You will have a booth area during the event from which you may hand-out treats to the children and parents. The Kiwanis Club will be distributing the event information throughout the area, on Facebook and on our park website www.HampsteadKiwanisPark.com . You may also display the flyer at your place of business.
** TRUNK-or-TREAT ** FOR THE FIRST TIME we are offering Families the opportunity to participate as well. Recognizing many neighborhoods in the Hampstead area are not well lit and difficult for children to visit. We will provided a limited number of slots for families that wish to give out Treats from the Trunk of their Car. We encourage Families to decorate the Trunk and participate in our Trunk-or-Treat Best Decorated Trunk contest. The winner will receive a trophy and recognition on the Kiwanis Park FB page and Web Site.
Other opportunities for donations or sponsorships include: contributions of small prizes for the children’s
costume contest or supporting the cost of the free hayride and inflatable activities. The cost for these
sponsors is $150 which will include a 3’x6’ banner for your business. We will hang your banner up at the
park that evening but it will be yours to keep after the event. You will also be listed on the event flyer as a
sponsor. (We thank September Signs for their partnership in providing the banners for this event.)
Attached you will find an application form for the Trick or Treat in the Park Sponsorships. Please e-mail the completed form by October 11, 2011 to insure you are included in the event flyer and all necessary signage can be produced.
As always, you are welcome and encouraged to attend a meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Hampstead. We
meet each Thursday at 7:30AM at the Sawmill Grill Restaurant at 15919 Hwy 17 in Hampstead. And don’t forget Trick-or-Treat / Trunk-or-Treat in the Park will be held on Halloween night from 5 PM to 8 PM at Hampstead Kiwanis Park, located at 586 Sloop Point Loop Road in Hampstead, NC.
